Acid Distiller

The lower and lower limits of detection available with ICP and ICPMS require ultra pure matrices. SPEX CertiPrep sub-boiling acid stills enable you to prepare ultra pure acids right in your laboratory at a fraction of the cost of purchasing these reagents. The distillation method of surface evaporation without boiling is employed through the use of infrared heaters. Most metals can be reduced below parts per billion levels in a single distillation.

Both Quartz and PTFE (Teflon) models are available.

New ELECTROFLUXER!

SPEX CertiPrep announces the ELECTROFLUXER^TM, a new departure in fusion flux equipment for the analytical laboratory. Safe and inexpensive, the ELECTROFLUXER can quickly transform cement, sand, ore, refractories, ceramics, etc. into glass discs for XRF or solutions for AA and ICP. Modular design allows up to four independent fusions from a single controller.
